Hardin Metro SPCA, Inc.’s planned facilities are to be a model of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)recognized ‘No-kill Shelter,’ offering a broad range of community services including cruelty investigations, public  veterinary clinic, spay & neutering programs, adoption, disaster response, community animal education facility, obedience programs and kennel services.  You can help.

Hardin Metro SPCA, Inc. is in need of poised and strategic thinkers, such as you, who demonstrate a team-focused
approach, business acumen, and a commitment to best-practices. Excellence in building partnerships internally and externally are essential components of this next phase.

 

Hardin Metro SPCA, Inc. has developed and implemented   plans for a ‘For Public Benefit - Non-Profit Tennessee Corporation’, and an IRS Approved Public Charity, for 501(c)3 federal tax exemption status, in order to develop and operate proper humane animal treatment facilities and programs in Hardin County, with planned locations in Savannah and Pickwick. The organizational and operational plans for Hardin Metro SPCA, Inc. are designed to help support efforts to:

  • Educate the public as to the benefits of humane animal treatment and management by promoting responsible pet ownership.  The safety, welfare and reputation of the community, requires it. 
  • Develop and operate nationally recognized model regional animal facilities and programs in Hardin County
  • Encourage State and Local Governments as to the benefits of humane animal treatment and management.
Contributions of money, brains and time are now required to save lives and combat animal overpopulation and animal cruelty in Hardin County and surrounding region.

 

Private support has and will always play a critical role in assuring the depth and quality of animal welfare and cruelty education for all.
